SD Protocol

Are you overworked, stressed, busy, or always feel like you're "on edge" or wound up?  Do you struggle with any (or all!) of the following symptoms:

* Shoulder and neck tightness
* Sensitivity to light and noise
* Headaches or migraines
* Trouble getting to or staying asleep
* Feeling cold all the time
* Dry hair or skin, brittle nails
* Anxiety or depression
* Digestive issues (such as IBS, diarrhoea, bloating, food intolerances)
* Infertility or low libido
* Difficulty losing weight
* High blood pressure
* Hormone imbalances
* PCOS or Uterine Fibroids
* Thyroid or Gallbladder problems

You may be suffering from something known as Sympathetic Dominance.   What is that, you ask?  You  have probably heard of the term "fight or flight".  This is essentially when your body is geared up to face a dangerous situation - for example running from a bear.  Physiologically, things start kicking in automatically to help deal with this situation - digestive, hormonal and reproductive systems are suppressed, heart rate and sweating increases, blood sugar levels and blood pressure increases, calf and glute muscles tense, and the head and shoulders move forward.

The Autonomic Nervous System consists of two parts, Sympathetic and Parasympathetic.  In the modern world we are less likely to be running from killer animals, but rather facing stressors such as financial or family stress, work or study stress, or traumatic events that occur in our life.  The problem with the modern world however is that these stressors don't really seem to go away.  What ends up happening is that you stay in this state of Sympathetic Dominance over a long period of time.

The Parasympathetic Nervous System works to balance things out and is responsible for rest, digestion, reproduction and repair.  The problem is that only one side can work at a time.  So if you're constantly in a wound up Sympathetic state, then these areas are not going to be a priority and can negatively impact your health and wellbeing.

The awesome news is that there is something we can do about it.   The SD Protocol, developed by Dr Wayne Todd, is easy to follow and addresses all aspects contributing to your wound up state in order to start balancing things out.  Using Naturopathic principles, I'll work with you to address the underlying causes of your symptoms and turn things around.

If this is resonating you, and you'd like to know more about how the SD Protocol can help you then jot your details down in the form below to receive a free ebook and more information.
